Percy is such a cutie! But boy can he be a rascal sometimes, especially when he forgets to listen to his teachers or his mommy. In this week’s I See Learn story—Percy Listens Up (listening), Percy learns that when you don’t listen, you can miss out on some important things. Listening, a social skill, shows respect for what other people have to say. Careful listening helps children understand directions, learning new things, be safe, and have more fun. “Hey, Percy! The ice cream truck is here! Are you listening?”

If they can swim 75 laps over the next four days, the local newspaper will sponsor them. The first day they swim a total of 14 laps (75 - 14 = 61). The next day they do a little better with 17 laps (61-17 = 44) But will they make their goal?
