Tuesday Tea: Which author is an automatic read for you?

Happy Tuesday!

My girl (not my girl) Natasha Pulley has a new book coming out next week (The Salt King), and I can’t wait to read it. I’m a completist with her: I will read anything/everything she writes without even glancing at the flap copy.

There are a handful of series authors that are automatic for me: Deanna Raybourn’s Veronica Speedwell books, Daniel Silva’s Gabriel Allon novels, Elizabeth George’s Inspector Lynley series.

Also on my ‘I really want to read all of her books’ list:

• Hilary Mantel (quite the backlist)

• Téa Obreht (I loved The Tiger’s Wife, and she has so many more)

• Rachel Harrison, who writes comedy-horror with fantastic dialogue and female friendship.

• Lifetime, I’m slowly working my way through all the Brontës’ works multiple times (although I’ve yet to drag myself to Charlotte’s Shirley and The Professor).
