August Affirmation: It is safe for me to hold both forward motion AND inward review at the same time.
Welcome to August and it is going to feel like you’ve passed through a door into a wormhole thanks to the retrogrades and eclipses happening.
I received a download this morning and I want to hand it straight to you as is from Source Energy. It’s for all of us moving through this month’s eclipse season, and other things, together.
The structures we’ve built, in the collective, and the ones you’ve built for yourself, especially over the last year and a half, even more especially since last April, are getting pressure tested this month. The stress test question will be whether they hold up for where you’re actually going or not, both on your individual path and the one we’re all walking together. The answer you and we as a collective receive depends entirely on how much of the inner work invitation you’ve actually been radically honest with yourself about, have done the shadow work or not AND also as a society, a collective, have we done the same?
HINT: Remember, we can’t control situations. We can only control how we CHOOSE to respond to them and that choice creates the manifestation of our reality.
There’s also a call coming through to add fire medicine to your daily practice. Look around right now. Fires are showing up everywhere, including places you wouldn’t expect. Transforming and transmutating everything in its path. The smoke is also moving through and affecting more people. The purpose of the smoke is to clear away the energy of the old and dissipate the space for the coming of the new. It’s not surprising some people are emotionally irritated by the smoke even when they are only witness to it. This type of clearing of the old isn’t what benefits them. Old patriarchal ideals, symbols, and structures are cracking, fading, or leaving outright. This will become more and more evident as we move through August.
If July was the starting pistol, August is the burst out of the gate. We’re moving through real transition now toward something more balanced between masculine and feminine energy, at a higher vibration.
As with our spiritual journeys, this isn’t all rainbows and unicorns as people like to think. There is real work to be done through this. Those of us who’ve been doing this work for a while know that. The 3D is catching up to everything we’ve already done internally, and now the shifts are actually manifesting into the 3D. So ground into your own intentions. Eyes on your own paper, because distraction is going to be a real, constant pull this month.
Between the elections, the flood of AI-generated video, audio, and “news” that may or may not be real, sometimes with a shred of truth wrapped in a false narrative trying to sway your thoughts, there’s a long line of people and systems competing for your attention. Commercials for products you may or may not need, politics, belief systems, all of it. The thing is…they know what you’re capable of and how energetically powerful you are, even if you’ve not fully stepped into that power yet. They know you have manifesting power and your energy flows where your focus goes. So knowing those who have access to wide spread dissemination of information want to direct your focus through distraction you need to be on guard for and redirect your own focus back to that which you want instead. Peace, balance, community, and prosperity for everyone. A return to old ways, upgraded for where we are now. Do not let yourself be distracted from that goal no matter what is presented to you. Fear is a very powerful tool and most of what will be presented is something to trigger your fear. Remember, just like FDR said, “The only thing to fear is fear itself”.
Tips to help you navigate this month: ground. Meditate. Strengthen that awareness muscle like it’s your job, because it is. Be intentional about what you feed your mind and your energy. Do a daily energy clearing. And start bringing some fire medicine into your practice, more on that later this month, because it’s exactly what I’m building this month’s Inner Circle resource around. This way you know not only your truth but what is true on a grander scale.
Lion’s Gate Portal, August 8. This is the yearly alignment of the Sun in Leo with the star Sirius, and it’s one of the most potent manifestation dates on the calendar. This year it carries extra weight because it overlaps with a major shift in the lunar nodes and lands just four days before our solar eclipse.
New Moon and Total Solar Eclipse in Leo, August 12. Leo is bold. Leo wants to be seen. This eclipse is asking you to start something out loud instead of in private.
Full Moon and Partial Lunar Eclipse in Pisces, August 27. Pisces deals in illusion, feeling, and what’s actually true underneath the story you’ve been telling yourself. This eclipse forces a release.
Neptune, Pluto, and Saturn retrograde, running all month. All three planets are moving backward right now. Neptune retrograde asks you to look honestly at where you’ve been escaping instead of facing something head on. Pluto retrograde is about power, control, and the fears you haven’t actually looked at yet. Saturn retrograde asks whether your structures and commitments can hold real weight, or whether they were built on borrowed time.
What it all means together. The eclipses want you to move, fast and out loud. The retrogrades want you to revise first. Both are happening at the same time, and that’s why August can feel like whiplash. Don’t fight it. Take the inspired action the eclipses are handing you, but do it with your eyes open, not on blind momentum. Skip the inner work the retrogrades are asking for, and you’ll move fast in the wrong direction. Only do inner work and never act, and you waste the eclipse energy completely. This month wants both from you. It is the epitome of “building the plane while flying it”.
