This Full Moon on the 29th is calling all of us out who have been hiding - whether you want to admit it or not.
Visibility is not about showing up as a participant in a flash mob at the mall, singing Do You Hear the People Sing from Les Mis. It could be if that’s your jam, but in actuality it means you need to take a pause, go deep and really ask yourself…
Where have I not been showing up for myself even though I know I need to?
This could look like not asking for what you want or need directly because you’re afraid you won’t get it or the person you need it from won’t like or love you for asking.
This could be literal and look like, in my case, not being visible on YouTube to support visibility in my intuitive coaching practice. I knew this to be true for myself and missed it terribly but for the last few years, personal things had really taken up a lot of bandwidth and now I am getting that bandwidth back. I know a lot of you have mentioned missing me from that live stream space and the Messy Bun Manifesting show I used to do (spoiler alert - I have been prepping it for a reboot!). So this, and generally being more visible for you, is something big on my radar for this Full Moon as well as being more visible in my life for myself. I share that because it’s not just my story - it’s what happens to a lot of us. I don’t know about you but when life throws big curveballs it can really mess with how we are able to show up for ourselves and those we care about.
Now, there is nothing wrong with crawling into the “safety burrito,” as one of my clients coined the term, from time to time.
Safety Burrito: When one has a rough go and just needs to retreat to their bed, bundle up in comforters up to their heads like a burrito and stay there maybe poking one’s head out for snacks.
Thing is - the safety burrito is a great recharge place but it’s not a place to stay.
The energy right now is an invitation to come out of your safety burrito - whether it’s literal or a figurative place you’ve been hiding yourself and/or your gifts from you or the world.
If you’ve been working on something FOREVER claiming it has to be perfect before you launch it out into the world - it’s time to adopt the motto: better done than perfect and launch.
If you’ve been resentful because you’ve been overlooked for that raise or promotion… It’s time to set a meeting with your manager, write down all your contributions and accomplishments and go have the meeting to ask for the raise OR time to find a new place that actually appreciates and welcomes your talent and creativity or maybe start that dream business you’ve always wanted to step into.
If you’re in a relationship (or want to be with your crush), it’s time to ask for what you want instead of pining away like some teenager in a CW drama.
Whatever dream you’ve been putting off for more perfect timing - this is the more perfect timing. Now.
Manifesting tip: you can’t manifest anything you keep putting the brakes on because of what if’s, fear and waiting for the perfect time.
It’s time to shine. The moon is full and asking you to focus in on the limiting thoughts and beliefs that have been holding you back from manifesting your dreams and shining your light - not the surface excuses… the real, deep-seated reasons why you’re not shining.
It’s time to not just name the fear but process the heck out of it. What are you afraid of? Is it real? Is it yours? Most likely not but you’ve claimed it for long enough that it’s messing with your shine and that has to stop now and the energy is supporting this!
It’s time to let it go…
