Hello! —
In the last week or so here in Chicago we’ve seen both frosty snow on the ground and a 72 and sunny day. Can we make up our mind, please? Asking for a friend. We also celebrated St. Patrick’s Day with Goose Island at their Salt Shed Pub. Limited-edition beer mugs anyone? With Spring Break the Stout crew is spread out all over traveling! North Carolina, Arizona, Utah, and California. Catch you all in April!
Brim is a small garage winery based in Traverse City, Michigan.
Part art project, part opposition to the grind of a career in fermentation, part celebration of agriculture and the fruit belt — the vision for who Brim is and what it stands for was very clear from the jump.
Our job was to articulate that vision and capture it with a flexible logo suite that a one-person company can employ for years to come.
For St. Patrick's Day this year we designed some limited-edition beer mugs for our friends over at Goose Island. At their Salt Shed Pub $10 got you a mug full of tasty Irish red ale with $2 refills. Good times!
We spent a few hot and sunny days in Los Angeles last week working with our friends Crowns & Hops. Photography, video, campaign work, and quality time spent together IRL over tasty food and beverages. Nothin’ better!
March — spring dance party!
Every month we like to share something that stood out to us. That could be a new restaurant, maybe a beer we had, tv shows, new music, movies, books, art, design, podcasts, games, etc — you name it!
We’re edging out of a very long, dark, snowy winter here in Northern Michigan and for the past week or so, I’ve been enjoying a nightly episode of How To Get To Heaven From Belfast. Paired with a pint (or two) of Guinness, courtesy of my annual Costco 24 pack, in front of the fire, it’s priming my psyche for the joy of Spring.

I’ve been flying quite a bit more than usual recently so I thought I’d share my little “help me feel good” kit that lives in my travel bag. First up are these Zinc Lozenges to help stave off any colds/sickness. I also like these travel sized Fiber Supplement Sticks because airport food and probably not drinking enough water wreaks havoc on ya. Speaking of hydration, I keep a tube of Nuun Tablets in my bag. Delicious electrolytes. I picked up these OLLY Sleep Gummy the other day and have found them helpful for odd sleep schedules. Let me know what’s in your kit!
