Style Weekly 5.1

Easing into the week with a comfy look. I swear - you can pretty much wear anything with these leopard flats and look chic. They truly are outfit makers. Another tip - a sweatshirt and sweatpants can feel super casual, but if you swap the sweatshirt for a sweater, it’s an easy upgrade.

Recreating my ‘90s mom looks with this outfit for another work from home Tuesday. I get asked a lot but, yes, this is my job. There is more behind the scenes than you’d think. But I love it.

I threw this look on after hanging out in my workout clothes all day. It worked for a chilly walk to pick up my kids from school.

I love this time of year when we can wear shorts with long sleeves and pants with tank tops. Maybe it’s the fact that it’s a short period of time when this outfit works weather wise, but it’s just my favorite.

This is basically a tee and sweatshirt but elevated with a cool jacket and chic sandals. Peep my new claw clip from Machete in the pick below, a hair accessories brand out of France. It was gifted, but I’ve already worn it a few times on days when my curly hair is just not working as an alternative to my usual bun. It actually makes my hair look styled instead of sloppy. On Saturday, we had the usual soccer game but made a little more exciting by having the grandparents in town. I wore my gray cardigan over a white tank with my striped boxer shorts and jelly flats.

Sunday was spent doing some activities in the city including a trip to Chinatown for dumplings - yum! I wore this very basic fit of a black tee and denim shorts with my leopard flats (again!)
