Secondly, I won’t publish Dating Journal entries weekly. The schedule will shift to two posts per month. Or one. I’m undecided but I know that four articles each month won’t continue.

They can’t.

It comes across as illogical to crack jokes about dating when I’m pulled in the direction of issues containing immense value. Dating Journal isn’t dying but I must speak to the current condition of the U.S. and dilemmas of significance, globally. Since I have no urge to cross pollinate two disparate audiences – nor do I truly want to build sentences around politics, but I feel compelled to – I need Dating Journal to remain a place absent the muck.

The paid option on Dating Journal will remain in case you or anyone else still wishes to support my pieces. I had to personally reach those who spent money and time supporting me and alert everyone of the changes. I envisioned creating a new tab on Dating Journal for political writing. Ultimately, I decided not to. I feel that they should be their own ecosystems.

I love writing Dating Journal. It would melt my soul if I chose silence as it pertained to the nature of the wider world.
