Last year at WWDC19, Apple introduced UITextInteraction saying, “it’s only three lines of code to add all of the system text selection gestures to your app.”
Last June, Apple promised to take the wraps off new technology at WWDC19 that allows iOS developers to create macOS apps from their iOS apps. The developer community has dubbed it “Marzipan”.
I wrote this article in 1996 when the Nintendo 64 was released. It doesn’t appear to be available on the internet any longer, so I’m reposting for historical purposes. I’ve worked on some amazing teams in my career, but this one was truly special.
