Steven Moore · Tales from World War III

With Putin getting free shots on Ukraine with every ballistic missile he fires, it is easy to think that Russia is winning in Ukraine. It is winning by one metric - Russia is killing more civilians than Ukraine.

Putin is getting more aggressive. Russia has fired drones into Romania multiple times this summer. Officials found an armed Russian drone in an airport in Leipzig/Halle. NATO forces shot down two drones in Latvian airspace. Russia openly attacked a Moldovan border crossing. A Russian cruise missile impacted inside Poland.

About two dozen Russian ships have ferried military cargo across the Caspian Sea from Russia to Iran multiple times. Ukraine has damaged or destroyed at least nine ships involved in that operation in the last couple of months. Read it again - Russia is sending weapons to Iran to kill US service members. Ukraine is working to stop the flow of weapons.

Ukraine’s deep strike capabilities have taken out many of the factories in Russia that are making missiles and drones. Cutting down on the amount of Russian weapons in the world is not only good for Ukraine, but for the United States and Europe.

But nobody in the US or Europe has found any missile interceptors to help Ukraine stop Russian ballistic missiles.
