Steven F. Hayward · Political Questions

Today’s title is taken from the early 1970s film compilation of the best Monty Python sketches, and worth mentioning that John Cleese of Python fame, always conventional left in his politics, has switched teams, expressing on Twitter his disgust for the Labour Party and the “multiculturalism” (i.e. culturalism of appeasement and surrender to the jihadists) that is destroying Britain today. Like this:

• First up in our videos this week is this lament for Democrats from Democrat operative Julian Epstein, who I remember from his frequent media appearances during the Clinton wars 30 years ago, where he lambasted Republicans with some ferocity. Note how he identifies education—especially higher education—as the core issue of our time. If we can’t fix the universities, the Democratic Party will continue to radicalize, with dire consequences for the nation:

• Next up, Fareed Zakaria notes how Sweden—“socialist” Sweden—has become the leading pillar of what the left (and some on the right—ahem, JD Vance) would call “neoliberalism” (plus immigration restriction and revocations of asylum status):

• Finally, some readers might not like this video, but I think it effectively skewers anti-semitism with some humor and justly deserved targets. Plus the AI quality is superb:
