It was always going to come down to this. From him calling Justin Trudeau “Governor Trudeau” to his declaration that we’d be the 51st state, we knew it wasn’t going to go away. Carney in Davos sent a strong message. Trump is oblivious to strong messages. So here we are. We’ve also known that oil, gas, potash, rare earth minerals, and electricity will eventually be on the table for retaliation. Dollar for dollar. We don’t want to do it but Trump is evil fat gangster guy in the Marvel Universe and needs to be rendered powerless. The pencils have been pencilled, the lettering is in place and now the inking is being done with the process colour soon to be applied. It will be a comic book full of action, intrigue and witty one-liners (not from Trump).
