Beds are Burning

As Mars moves into his alignment with Ceres on the 9th, calling forth attention to your relationship to Mother, to your body and your relationship to her fruits - be that the sustenance you consume that enables you to fuel your being; as well as reminding us that She is alive and conscious and deserves more than the indifference we have shown her, a theme discussed in full in this week’s video, there are also three separate conversations your heart is being asked to have all at once, and they land together on the 10th, 11th and 12th like guests who all ringing the same doorbell at the same time. One of them comes wrapped in mist. One comes carrying something old and radiant that has been waiting to be let out. And one arrives holding a bare wire, live with insight, not caring in the slightest whether you are ready or not!

Venus (and Mercury) will join the Basket in one single shimmering configuration now, opposite Neptune, in trine to Pluto, in trine to Uranus. The ‘heat’ haze is the softening of every edge around what you value, whom you love, what money genuinely means to you, and whether the person or the promise in front of you is real or something you have gently dressed in your own longing. The heat is an old radiance rising up through you from years of quieter mending, asking for nothing more than permission to be seen. And the lightning is a strike of understanding landing in the middle of both, illuminating for a heartbeat exactly which parts of your haze are fog and which parts of your radiance are true gold.

Your heart-values are the whole subject here - what you love, what you consider worth your energy, what you have decided you are owed or owe, your creative offering, your bank balance, your body, your art, all of it sits under this same Venusian roof. So when the haze thickens, notice where it touches your sense of worth specifically. Where have you been loving a reflection and calling it a person? Where have you priced your worth using a currency that was never real to begin with?

Right alongside that haze, is your gold, that hunger for the new, electric and slightly reckless, dropping in a flash of clarity about a relationship, a debt, a piece of work you have been circling. When your heart opens, you can forget yourself and your world pours in - an invisible world of meaning, one that sustains everything that was and ever shall be. As you radiate your heart-essence, you become a magnet drawing healing, insight and support at all levels to your physical incarnate form. As your heart-centre pulses with a loud and clear beat, you attract more and more love and you glow brightly and effervescently.

Pluto trine Venus is the part of you that does not need permission to be radiant. Think of someone you know who seems to glow, someone who may not be the most polished, yet somehow everyone turns toward them. That capacity is yours this week too. Let it move. Play with it. Dance badly in your own kitchen if that what calls you, since your creative current and your erotic current and your sense of what you are worth are all one river this week, and starving one starves the whole length of it.

So here are some questions for you.

What have you dressed in longing that deserves a clearer look?

What in you is already radiant, needing no performance and no permission?

And when the lightning comes, this week of all weeks, will you let yourself follow it somewhere your careful planning never accounted for?

May the flash of understanding that visits you this week be given room enough to stay a while before the day pulls you elsewhere.

And may your heart, however it has been dazzled or diminished or quietly waiting this year, remember it is only asking for your attention and honesty.
