the complete BBC games archive • Junga Bunga (Coolsoft) - sold on ebay

I don't suppose anybody here won this? https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/236955447510 It also lists "Attack!" as available from "Coolsoft", with "Sword of Scumvit" (!) coming soon - some more titles to add to the missing list, Lee? (Not that Scumvit necessarily made it out into the wild). Statistics: Posted by Arcadian — Thu Aug 20, 2026 6:23 pm

other vintage hardware, software and languages • Mac II Si PSU repair

My son's acquired a Mac II Si with Sony PSU. True to form, all the caps on this PSU had leaked horrifically. So I removed them, cleaned the board with IPA, and replaced them. The schematics are here (PSU is last page): https://www.applefritter.com/files/Maci ... arc%29.pdf To my immense surprise, it worked first time! Then a couple of days later, it's stopped. Now, it gives the 5V trickle voltage…

This is just frkn superb Robert, really enjoyed that ..connected with Wi-modem, Beeb and Commstar. What a joy. Major congrats Thanks Brian. 8-bit acorn hardware • Re: General advice requested

I've just been reading this account of a very similar repair and noticed that he tried reflowing the solder on the dodgy chip first of all. So was that a much simpler possibility I could have tried? I note his fault seems to be an inverted bit rather than a stuck bit though, so maybe that indicates some significant difference in this case. https://www.paulerrington.co.uk/blog/20 ... ation.html…

I do like the Teletext weather symbols. Somewhere I have some Ceefax weather pages, I am sure others do too. Statistics: Posted by BeebMaster — Thu Aug 20, 2026 5:25 pm

software & utilities for the pc, mac or unix • Re: Disc Image Manager

Forgot that the function to produce the report is the same function that produces the CSVs too. I've put 1.50.3 online - only changes are those discussed above...plus a bit of tinkering. Statistics: Posted by geraldholdsworth — Thu Aug 20, 2026 4:56 pm

8-bit acorn hardware • Voltmace Delta 14B joystick tester released

I've just release a new project: https://github.com/markmoxon/delta-14b-tester It's a very simple Delta 14B joystick tester, for use with the Delta 14B joystick and the 14B/1 adaptor. At the moment it only test the keypad, but I'll be adding stick readings soon so you can use it to test the whole stick. It is a lot more useful for testing than the Voltmace utilities, as it shows a constant stream…
