There is an old large stained glass supply store that is the largest one south of Chicago. The lady that owns it, Jo, is 90 years old.

My sister lives near the store and has been helping Jo get the very over filled store more organized for quite awhile now but as my sister sees more of the back rooms and warehouse she knows that it is time for the master organizer to step in. Me.

My first ex was a hoarder of antiques and everything else so I have a lifetime of experience of needing to go in every so often to open things up and get it organized.

Jo’s husband was an electrician and a contractor and is a little younger than she is but he had a stroke a couple years ago so he isn’t able to help his wife as he used to. His shop is on the second floor of the large building and a lot of his salvaged woodwork is in the glass warehouse.

Since I know electrical, contracting and stained glass it is like I was built to help this lady. I also have the experience of designing and installing two musical instrument stores so I know retail as well.

This is the building.

The store is 80 miles from my house and 15 miles from my sister’s house. The lady needs my help so I’m going to help her. It’s what my mother taught me to do. Jo already has one angel watching over her and helping her. Now she’ll have two.

My sister and I are both INTJ’s(The Architect, problems solvers) and INFJ’s(The Advocate, empaths). We are like twins with her being 3 years older. When we are together working on anything we are a force.

The goal is to get the place more organized with Jo’s personal workshops usable while making the overfilled spaces safer for Jo and her husband Hank to navigate through while at the same time keeping Jo informed about every step so that she knows where everything is.

Besides the organizing I will also be doing plumbing, electrical & carpentry for overdue repairs and added storage. I already know about some of the longstanding issues but once I do a walkthrough I’ll quickly know what needs to be done and in what order.
