—with the Belletrist Book Club x PAGEBREAK read-a-whole-book-together-over-a-weekend retreat for THE FOUNTAIN!!
The book is set in a valley verrrry much like the one here at the Inn, so we kept joking that everyone was having the most immersive experience possible. The mountains, the creek, the barn, even my old farmhouse. Not to mention book begins in the month of April!

Here’s how it works, in PAGEBREAK’s words:
📖 4 fabulous writers will read 4 original short stories to a seated audience. [This month it’s me, 'Pemi Aguda, Jordy Rosenberg, and Jade Song!!]
🎲 Before each reading, 3 lucky audience members will be chosen at random to read the story on stage with the author!
🎩 You can put your name in a hat when you enter the venue if you’d like to read (this is OPTIONAL)
🤝 Stories will be read PAGE BREAK STYLE: in this case, 1 page at a time, alternating between the 4 readers on stage
📙 Everyone will receive an exclusive ZINE with the 4 stories printed in it, so you can follow along quietly from your seat. Just like the PAGE BREAK experience!

I’ve been before as an audience member and it was one of the most fun and lively and friendly kind of book events I’ve ever been to!

I’ve got just a few rooms left for Memorial Day Weekend and May 29th, then our weekends are sold out until July 10th!!
Don’t forget, we’re open for Sunday through Wednesday night stays all June too.
My other half Steven Weinberg’s WATERCOLOR WEEKEND retreat is the last weekend in June. We’re half-booked already, so if you’re thinking about it, you’ll want to hop on it sooner rather than later!
