What does genuine saving faith look like? In James 2:14–26, James teaches that works never lead to saving faith, but saving faith always produces works. Pastor Jared examines four examples of faith and explains that saving faith is more than words, right theology, or an emotional experience. True faith looks to Jesus, repentance of sin, trust in Christ alone for salvation, and produces fruit.
In 1 Kings 19, we see Elijah wrestling with disappointment and false expectations about how God would work. Pastor Matt Kimbrough challenges us to examine our own expectations of God, remember that He is always at work, even when we don't see it, and keep our focus on Christ.
