TEDxEinsteinMed has just opened speaker applications… and it is a very short application window!
Get your applications in before August 28!
No residency requirement is stated, making this a potentially valuable opportunity for Speaker Accelerator members beyond New York.
Event Date: December 2026
Location: Albert Einstein College of Medicine, the Bronx, New York
Deadline: August 28, 2026
Theme: Not publicly stated
TEDxEinsteinMed is accepting applications from:
Albert Einstein College of Medicine students
Postdoctoral researchers
Faculty members
Members of the general public
The official announcement does not state a residency requirement.
Applicants should review the live form carefully before submitting and make sure they can travel to the Bronx if selected.
As with any TEDx application, the strongest proposals will ordinarily present one clear, original and noncommercial idea that can be supported with evidence, professional knowledge, research or relevant lived experience.
TEDxEinsteinMed is an independently organized TEDx initiative associated with Albert Einstein College of Medicine in the Bronx.
Einstein describes its institutional work as combining scientific excellence, medical education, community engagement and expanded access to healthcare. Its academic community includes medical, doctoral and combined-degree students, postdoctoral researchers, faculty members, clinicians and biomedical investigators. Opening the speaker call to the general public creates an opportunity for ideas and perspectives from beyond the institution. However, applicants should still consider how their proposal will connect with an audience rooted in research, medicine, education and the Bronx community.
