South Durham schools have another busy week of spring sports ahead, with a mix of high school matchups and one especially notable middle school rivalry on the calendar from April 21-24. This week’s five games to watch include home volleyball, softball, soccer, and baseball contests, plus a Rogers-Herr–Sherwood Githens showdown that stands out as one of the most locally compelling matchups of the week. Here are five games worth circling.
Tuesday, April 21 — 6 p.m. — DSA vs. Orange — Boys varsity volleyball
Wednesday, April 22 — 5:30 p.m. — Jordan vs. Southern — Girls varsity softball
Thursday, April 23 — 4:45 p.m. — Rogers-Herr vs. Sherwood Githens — Middle school rivalry games
Thursday, April 23 — 5 p.m. — Hillside vs. Chapel Hill — Girls varsity soccer
Friday, April 24 — 6 p.m. — Jordan vs. Willow Spring — Boys varsity baseball
