Hello everyone!
I have a couple of big announcements for you this month; we have a couple of really cool things coming up for you. If you opened this and read the preview text, you’re probably already aware that we have two really great events for you coming up this fall and early winter.
The first event I want to let you know about is the Better Business, Better World conference. This conference is focused on social and economic development that is good for people and the planet. It is a gathering for people who believe that commerce, science, and spirit are not separate domains. For three days, founders, strategists, healthcare leaders, energy innovators, and systems thinkers explore the forces reshaping our world and leave with frameworks they can apply Monday morning.
We have a great group of speakers, including Adam Torres from the Mission Matters podcast (he was on The Cameron Journal Podcast, too!) and Christopher Kai, one of the best business leaders and coaches. We are also featuring some of your favorite SOOP authors, including Alise Cortez, Bruce Koerber, and Bob Atkinson. You’ll hear speakers blend together the ideas that business and our shared values are not separate but inextricably linked.
The conference is being held at the Marriott Renaissance SeaWorld in Orlando on December 18-20, which means its a great time to get out of the cold that most of the country will be in and take a quick trip to Florida and find out how your business or even your day job can be part of a new economy that can be profitable and make the world a better place.
You can find out more and register now. Early-bird pricing is $200, and there are still hotel rooms available for travelers.
You can also keep up with the event on their Substack!
Not ready to travel yet? Don’t worry, we are doing another virtual summit right here at SOOPMedia! The Threading the Needle Between Good and Evil virtual summit is coming up on October 16-18. This time we’re doing afternoon and evening sessions on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. We are excited for this follow-up to our What is Truth Summit we did in July.
This time we’ll be focusing on political polarization and how we can bridge the divide that separates us, focusing on our shared values and how to move society toward them. In today’s environment, it is very easy to get tribal about every issue, and social media is optimized for that outcome; however, we can start today on bridging that gap, and that’s what we’re going to do together.
Tickets are just $25 for general admission and $75 for VIP (includes recordings!)
