Next up: Columbus, Ohio!

This week I’m heading to Columbus for this year’s National Cartoonists Society Conference and Reuben Awards. Not only will this be my first time in Ohio, but this will also be the first time I’m attending the NCS conference & Reubens. The conference runs Thursday, August 6 through Saturday, August 8, and I’m actually participating in some of the events!

On Friday morning, I’ll be one of five speakers for Toon Talks. From the official conference program:

Then on Saturday, I’ll be part of the NCS Cartoonist Showcase at the Billy Ireland Cartoon Library & Museum:

Join some of today’s most beloved graphic novel, comic strip, and comic book creators for an afternoon of stories, drawing, laughter and inspiration as The Billy Ireland Cartoon Library & Museum (BICLM) and Wexner Center for the Arts host the NCS Cartoonist Showcase, a community-wide event in collaboration with the National Cartoonists Society (NCS) and Scholastic’s Graphix imprint.

• 1 pm - 6 pm

• The event will take place in the Billy Ireland Cartoon Library & Museum and the Mershon Auditorium in the Wexner Center for the Arts.
