When the body feels tired for several days, the usual response is to wait for a free evening or the weekend. You keep moving through work, errands, screens, exercise, responsibilities, and social plans while quietly promising yourself that proper rest is coming later.
Then the free time arrives, and one day of rest does not feel like enough.
You sleep longer, sit more, watch something, or avoid demanding tasks, yet the body still feels heavy. The shoulders remain tense. The energy does not fully return. The mind wants activity, but the body feels behind.
This happens because recovery is not always something the body can receive all at once.
A body that is asked to keep giving throughout the week often needs recovery woven into the week, not saved for the end of it.
