There may be content you support and some you don’t. But if I’m going to preach that people like me should have a seat at the table, it is important to me to practice what I preach and offer a seat to as many perspectives as I can.

• NEW The Bloomberg Initiative To Reduce Tobacco Use Tobacco Cessation Grants Program. Limited to 9 countries with high rates of tobacco use. Deadline: Jul 29, 2026.

• NEW Mar 10-12, 2027, Australia - Oceania Tobacco Control Conference (OTCC). Scholarship application deadline: Aug 1, 2026.

• NEW Tobacco Control and Prevention Funding Opportunities. Letters of Intent are due August 3, 2026.

• Nov 23-24, 2026, UNSW Sydney, Australia - Tackling Stigma Conference 2026. This event is inclusive of people with lived/living experiences. 17 August 2026: Scholarship applications close.

• SSA Annual Conference (Society for the Study of Addiction). Application for financial support to attend deadline: Aug 18, 2026.

• 2027 PCMNCG Pittsburgh Conference Memorial National College Grant. Grants will be awarded to small college science departments for the purchase of scientific equipment, audio-visual or other teaching aids, and/or library materials for use in the teaching of science at the undergraduate level. Maximum funding available for each grant is $10,000. Deadline: Nov 1, 2026.

• NEW WHO Healthy Cities Recognition Awards 2026 – Nominate your City. There are several awards. One of them is: “Protecting Communities from Tobacco and Alcohol-Related Harms: Tackling Commercial Drivers of Risk.” Nomination deadline: Jul 22, 2026.

• Minnesota Prevention Achievement Award. Nomination deadline: September 12, 2026, for these four categories: Emerging Leader Award (for youth 18 and younger), Hero Award (for adults 19 and older), Community Prevention Award (for a coalition, partnership, or organization), Career Achievement Award (for an individual who has made significant contributions over the course of their prevention career).

• Environmental Perception of Nicotine Products in Consumers and Non-Consumers. This survey is part of the international THR, Ethics and Sustainability Research study. Your participation is voluntary and completely anonymous. Approximate duration: 6-8 minutes.
