World Bank Group (WBG) Pioneers Internship Program - E&S Data Analytics and Portfolio Support Interns (Lagos): Candidates must be currently enrolled in, or in the final year of a master’s degree program and must hold a bachelor’s degree in environmental science or engineering, international development, or natural sciences. Candidates must have at least two years of relevant professional experience.
Assistant Manager, Banking Legal Services (Intra-African Trade & Corp. Finance) - African Export Import Bank: Post graduate degree in Law from a recognised university and a diploma in legal practice of a recognised bar course and professional legal practice and experience of not less than 5 years, with particular emphasis on the Banking and financial services industry.
Product Manager (Portfolio Monitoring) at Stears (Lagos): 3 - 5+ years of product management experience in a B2B SaaS, financial data, or investment-focused company, and knowledge of private capital investment, African markets, and/or financial research workflows.
The Bridge Scholarship: This covers educational expenses, mentorship, and career and leadership development. The scholarship is offered annually, and once awarded, the scholar is supported until graduation. Open to students currently in Year 1 or the penultimate year of their respective degree program in a public university.
University of Rwanda Mastercard Foundation Scholars Program: Comprehensive financial support, including full tuition fees, fully paid on-campus accommodation, a laptop, learning materials, an annual return ticket allowance, and a full-year monthly stipend.
African Leadership Academy - Financial Aid Available: African Leadership Academy offers a two-year residential program for teenagers, the ALA Diploma Program. This tight-knit, pan-African community empowers each student with the skills and mindsets required for transformative leadership. Everyone who applies to and is admitted to ALA, regardless of background or nationality, is eligible for significant financial assistance. 97% of ALA students receive financial assistance.
MUSON/MTNF Music Scholars Programme: The programme provides talented young musicians with the opportunity to receive professional music education at the prestigious MUSON School of Music in Lagos, Nigeria.
Pulitzer Center Africa Education Teachers’ Fellowship: A six-month hybrid professional development program designed to equip teachers with practical skills to integrate journalism into classroom teaching to strengthen critical thinking, literacy, civic engagement, climate awareness, and ethical media consumption.
African Plant Nutrition Outreach Fellowship Program: Awards of USD $5,000 each are available in support of African scientists, extension specialists, or educators conducting education, training, and communication programs relevant to improving the use and efficiency of plant nutrients in African agro-ecosystems.
Integrated Drought Management Programme Competition for Youth-Led Projects: Two prizes consisting of 3000 CHF each will be awarded to selected projects which are in line with the objectives and selection criteria of the competition. Awarded project leaders will implement their initiatives over 9 months, with guidance and support from experts on floods and drought.
Association of Commonwealth Universities (ACU) Global Grants: This provides undergraduate students at ACU member universities with funding to attend short-term academic programmes (summer or winter schools), hosted by an ACU member institution in a different Commonwealth country. 10 awards of up to GBP 5,000 are available.
Royal Academy of Engineering Africa Prize for Engineering Innovation: The Prize awards commercialisation support to African innovators developing scalable engineering solutions to local challenges. Prize money of up to £50,000.
