And that’s a wrap!
I thought the world needed a little more simple joy at the beginning of 2025, but I think it needs it even more now, a year later.
In advance of sharing my first post, I had figured out the long list of weekly challenges. Throughout the year, I ordered the list, sharing each suggestion weekly. I wrote the individual updates to accompany each challenge as I went.
I did manage to share a post each week, though not every Wednesday as I had hoped or intended. Life often got in the way. I scheduled some in advance, but most were created in real-time, with several being shared last thing on a Tuesday, in the last few hours of the week.
I didn’t specifically intend for the challenges to be so wholesome per se, but there was an element of accidental innocent delight in the final list. Though not specifically aimed at children, the challenges ended up capturing the fun and curiosity that I remember from being much younger.
All in all, these bursts of fun have brought many smiles throughout the year. I have particularly loved, as always, the contributions from others who have commented or messaged.
I really want to create a pack of prompt cards based on the weekly challenges. It is now on my to-do list to research how best to design and create this.
Thank you so much to everyone who has followed along throughout the year. Here’s to never tiring, losing interest, or growing indifferent.
Have fun!
“It is simply this: do not tire, never lose interest, never grow indifferent—lose your invaluable curiosity and you let yourself die. It’s as simple as that.”
