aboard, glad to share the boat”.
I said I was swimming alongside
since I was sixteen or so, but
something hit me lately.
Probably it was turning 50,
knowing I was chasing Harry,
wouldn’t be long until I’d passed him.
“Yes” he said. “I get that very much,
I understand. That resonates”.
I told him I’m working through
a bunch of stuff, and a little
ooh-wah, ooh-wah, oh-wah-wah-wah
goes a bloody long way.
