Great to hear of excellent A level results last week, and many congratulations to some brilliant students.

In the spirit of aiming to support, we might be arranging an A level group from the new term. There's also a number of new videos to 3minutemaths ... always keen to hear your comments - please do let me know :-)

Here's a fun exercise for the summer. Can you write your own missing word paragraph?

Always pleased to mark and feedback, particularly the funny ones.

Here's an example:

Use the words in the word bank to fill in the passage below:

hobbling

moment

paws

huge

fields

leaping

wearing

The dog leapt out of the back of the car and began to run the ________ its ________ hit the street. It raced onto the _________ behind the shop and disappeared after ________ a _________ fence. Frantically, Nicky began chasing the animal, ________ on the the high heels she was ________.

Ever play a computer game? An item - such as an alien spaceship - moves across the screen. Here's the translation maths.

And here's when the spaceship rotates.

Getting ready for year 11? Don't forget, we're (and your teachers, and your parents, and your friends) are always here to support.

Here's a new 3minutemaths post on 5 hard GCSE questions - might be good to practice.

Have a great week

PS. I hope you found the last few weeks posts on logarithms useful. Perhaps try a question on integration? This one has had a few views & likes.
