Wolverines post solid times in hot season debut

With temperatures promising to hit as high as 103 degrees on Friday, Aug. 21, Weiser’s Wolverine cross country team made their season debut at the New Plymouth Cross Country Invite, where 12 men’s teams competed for top placings. 

 Weiser finished sixth in the 5,000-meter race team standings, with a team score of 142. First through fifth went to: Nampa Christian, 28; Cole Valley Christian, 91; Liberty Charter, 96; New Plymouth, 116; and Compass Honors, 133.
