Incident crews demobilize, containment nearly complete

 The Tartar Fire Incident Management Base Camp at Weiser High School was nearly cleared by Friday, closing out a three week operation that drew hundreds of firefighters, engines, and aircraft to Washington County. The Southwest Area Incident Management Team 1 delivered its final morning briefing on Wednesday, Aug. 12, before transferring command to local Type 4 teams for patrol and rehabilitation.
