With the month of August only a few days away, the city is growing quiet. The Showrunner team is doing a mix of travel, hanging out in the city, and exploring the gallery scene in Hudson and beyond. Before you head out of town for the last month of summer, join us at Margot Samel next Wednesday, August 5th, for La sombra del tiempo, a solo exhibition by our friend, Jimena Velarde-Alvarez.

Margot Samel presents “La sombra del tiempo,” a solo exhibition by Jimena Velarde-Alvarez, highlighting her exploration of shadows and time through atmospheric paintings and shadow box sculptures from August 5-28, 2026.
