Hi darlings!!!! It’s FREEZING here in Wellington rn, so I am in bed with my hot water bottle writing this to you with freezing hands!!!!

For those who have been following my house hunting journey, I am STILL LOOKING. Who knew it was so hard to find a small house near the water that is filled with whimsy and isn’t structurally fucked?? Will keep you in the loop.

In other news, I watched Camp Rock 3 last night, and I shamelessly loved it. Yes it was different, but seeing the same set, Connect 3, CONNIE running the show, and the same joy in the young castmates… it was like coming home.

I did cry at the end because Camp Rock is one of my favourite movies and it’s been such a joy to have Demi and The Jonas Brothers fill my TikTok fyp again 𓆩♡𓆪

Before we get started, the most important part of this story is that the Tates are in federal detention pending UK charges including human trafficking, rape, and assault against multiple alleged victims, as well as allegations in Romania including witness intimidation.

If you ever feel bad about yourself, just think - at least you didn’t gather in front of the detention centre in Miami where Andrew and Tristan Tate are currently being held to protest by doing push-ups in 24-degree heat ◡̈

This is a group of boys who brought signs saying: “Thank you Andrew Tate for teaching us BRAVERY,” “Tates are heroes,” and even a Plato quote: “No one is hated more than he who speaks the truth.” Plato would be rolling in his grave.

This news has really rocked me. Hayden was loved for so many reasons, but for me, it was her in Nashville that I loved the most. I’ve watched that entire show twice - it’s one of my all-time favourites, and I’m so sad to think that she’s gone.

Hayden died on Sunday in Greenville, South Carolina, at only 36. Her father Skip, announced her passing, describing her as “an incredible light and a force of nature.”

What we know

  • Police said there were no signs of foul play

  • The coroner confirmed cardiac arrest

  • She had spoken openly about her struggles with substance abuse, including in her memoir published earlier this year

  • Her brother had passed away a few years before this, something she’s talked openly about struggling with.

Connie Britton wrote: “I have no words for this sad song. Just heartbreak. I love you girl. Sleep easy now.”

Selma Blair wrote: “I love you. Don’t be gone. Please.”

Role Model and Lena Dunham interviewed each other

Interview Mag is my all time favourite magazine (and I can’t even get a subscription to it here in Aotearoa), and things like this interview are why. Go read it!
