I am sitting here thinking what to write.
And honestly, this is the big problem in our age:
We keep trying to think our way through something rather than let it come through us naturally.
Forcing, forcing, forcing… until we feel fed up with what we loved in the first place.
Did we stop loving it? Most likely not.
Did we attach a feeling of resentment towards that which we love? Maybe.
Have you ever felt like you want to vomit when approaching an activity?
A feeling of disgust, your gut turning upside down?
I’ve felt it many times. Mostly when washing dishes lol.
But I also felt it when rolling out my mat to do yoga.
Yoga has been part of my journey for over 3 years, and I found so much peace in it. It was the one practice that helped me remember who I am beyond what others think of me.
Yet at some point it also became part of my to‑do list.
“30 minutes of yoga every morning.”
“3 yoga classes to attend every week.”
What could be so harmful?
Control, overstepping personal boundaries, and turning your passion into a to‑do list.
It was fine… until it wasn’t.
This was about 2 years ago. Fast forward to today: I haven’t done a full vinyasa yoga class for 1,5 months.
Yet this time it feels different, because I recognised the whisper when it came:
“Stop. I don’t want to do it at the moment. I want to do something else instead.”
My gut had spoken. My deeper intelligence.
The truth is that it always spoke to me – I was just too scared to listen.
With ignorance came resentment towards that which I love. It grew in size until a collapse came and I “had to” drop “my love” for 4 months.
Now, I’m learning to pause earlier. To hear the whisper sooner. To give myself a choice.
I believe our passions and activities that bring us joy are some of the most crucial things for good life quality. They are our anchors for when we feel out of balance, sad, angry, overwhelmed, lost or stuck.
Like a light at the end of the tunnel. A small piece of hope.
Today I want to share a personal “secret” with you: how I see someone’s biggest resource in their birth chart.
Important note: we are looking at activities that are meant to bring you comfort. They are not meant to be part of a rigid “I have to do it” list.
For this, let me share an example from my own chart.
Below you can see my birth chart. All the secrets lie in the 4th house (circled in orange) and the Moon (circled in red):
The 4th house represents our home life and environment.
Home doesn’t have to be a physical place. Home is where we seek safety and recharge our batteries.
Mine is in Pisces – a water sign related to spirituality, creativity, deep emotions and magic.
My safe space is, in fact, a little temple corner I built in our house.
My first instinct is to go there, cry, laugh, shuffle some cards, doodle in my journal (and possibly burn something).
Ironically, I might also end up dancing or doing yoga right there too.
How come?
The answer lies in my Moon placement.
The Moon shows how we process and feel our emotions, and what brings us emotional comfort.
The sign shows our tendencies, while the house shows the environments where our emotional side feels most comfortable and expressive.
My Moon is in Aries in the 5th house.
Aries is a fire sign known for its bold, hot‑headed, active and courageous nature.
The 5th house represents self‑expression, creativity, pleasure and children.
My emotions are not something to be taken lightly – they are intense, yet they are not meant to be fully communicated through language.
My comfort activities are art, dance, intuitive movement (sometimes boxing) – anything where emotions can be expressed through the body.
Your chart might be drastically different, or it might be similar.
You can check yours on astro-seek.com.
And for the most courageous ones – you’re welcome to share your birth time, date and timezone in the comments, and I’ll pull a mini‑reading for you 😉
To wrap up: if something you once loved now feels like a burden, maybe it’s not more judgement you need… but more softness.
Softness to listen to your body.
Softness to tweak how you do things.
Softness to let a passion rest and be reborn in a new shape.
