Happy August, folks!
As most of you may know, in addition to this newsletter, our SheWritesAI community includes a book series where women and nonbinary writers from all continents get to author the AI story, rather than just react to it. Here’s the latest news on our collaborative She Writes AI Everywhere book series.

📢 To enhance the accessibility of our book for people who prefer listening to reading (on devices or on paper), we’re thrilled to announce that an abridged audiobook with nine selected chapters of AI Everywhere, Volume 1 has now been released. Each included chapter is human-narrated by its author. (Huge thanks to StacyLynn Sullivan for being a beta listener for us 🫶🏼!)

The audiobook includes the following chapters from Volume 1:
Our audiobook is being widely distributed through INaudio. Supported audio platforms include: 24symbols / 3Leaf Group / Anyplay / Apple Books / Audiobooks.com / AudiobooksNow / Axiell / Barnes & Noble (Nook) / Bibliotheca / Bokus Play / Bookmate / Books-A-Million / Bookshop.org / Chirp / Cliq / Downpour / Everand (Scribd) / Google Play / hoopla / LibraryOne / Kobo, Walmart / Libro.FM / Nextory / Odilo / Overdrive (Libby) / Storytel / TuneIn / Wheelers (NZ). (Direct links will be added here and put in bold as the distributions go through over the next few weeks.)
Special launch pricing (just $9.99) is in effect through September 30. In addition to the audio platforms above, a full-length MP3 is available directly from our Gumroad store right now. (The launch discount will be applied automatically.) Pick up your copy soon, or ask your library to order it for you. Happy listening!
Why not Audible/Amazon? Our audio platform provider, INaudio, supports Audible. However, Amazon does not accept an audiobook without a matching KDP ebook. Our Amazon ebook has all 24 chapters. The audiobook includes 9 of the 24, so it is not considered to be a match.
