Many people no longer make traditional New Year’s Resolutions, others prefer making New Year’s Intentions.
Regardless of what you call it, may I invite you to consider including being “death ready”, to your 2026 list!
That’s right…
Does your will need a review and an update? Every 3 to 5 years is a rule of thumb and of course after any significant changes in circumstances: financial, relational, legal, and personal.
Having a conversation with your people doesn’t mean that you are on the verge of dying, but talking about death may feel unnerving but it is necessary.
Do the significant people in your life know where to look and what you want when you are no longer here to direct them.
Those points can be hard to get started, and if you need support in getting things done, or having the conversations…perhaps enlisting the help and support of a Death Doula, would be a wise and comforting investment.

You may not be as familiar with Death Doulas, who helps in many capacities, those preparing for death and or are at the end of life.
