99 Days til Election Day

It’s hard to believe it, but there are 99 days until Election Day.

We have 99 days left to knock on doors, to keep our ads on the air, and to take back the Senate and get to work for hardworking Ohioans.

But today, I’m reflecting on all the hard work we’ve put into this race, and some of my favorite moments along the way.

Folks, I’ve loved every second of this campaign. From Toledo to Youngstown, every new face I meet on the trail reminds me of the important work we are doing here in Ohio.

We hit the ground early, meeting people across the state and building a coalition to flip the Senate.

I’ve long believed that when you love this country, you fight for the people who make it work. And the people I’ve met at small businesses, on farms, and on the road have only strengthened that belief.

I got in this race because Ohioans are being pushed to the wayside, struggling to afford the basics, and there’s nobody fighting for hardworking Ohioans in the U.S. Senate right now. I’ve heard the same story come up again and again: people are working harder than ever, yet they see more money coming out the door than coming in.

As spring rolled around, our campaign kept expanding, and so did the crowds of folks showing up to meet us. All of this reminds me why this fight is worth it (and how much I love baseball season – Go Guards!)

Nearly three months ago, Ohioans officially nominated me as the Democratic nominee for U.S. Senate… and our momentum only grew from there. Election expert after election expert moved our race to a toss-up, even further confirming what I’ve been seeing and hearing from folks across the state: Ohioans are ready for change.

And we didn’t stop there. As summer kicked off, we launched our field programs, knocking on doors across Ohio’s 88 counties. And there’s always time for baseball.

Now, with 99 days to go, this race is coming down to the wire. Polls keep shifting, but our momentum keeps growing.

It is an honor to be in this race, and it is an honor to have the support of folks like you who know the stakes couldn’t be higher.

Your support has carried us through the first 343 days of this campaign, and I know it’s what will get us through these next 99.
