CELTICS-WARRIORS: What Worked, What didn't work and What worked better than expected

Jaylen Brown has had the kind of breakout season scoring the ball that you know would see him climb the franchise’s all-time scoring leaders list.

But top 10?

Brown, delivering yet another impressive game scoring the ball, is officially one of the Boston Celtics’ all-time great scorers in Boston’s 120-99 win over Golden State.

An average scoring game by Brown would have moved him into the top 10 ahead of Jo Jo White and Dave Cowens.

Brown, who came into Wednesday’s game ranked 12th all-time, finished with 32 points, which brings his career total to 13,202, which now has him in alone in the No. 10 spot among all-time Celtics scorers.

It is just the latest milestone for Brown, who continues to keep the Celtics within striking distance of the Detroit Pistons, who have a 3.5-game lead over Boston for the top spot in the East.

Brown’s strong play is even more impressive considering how Boston has re-integrated Jayson Tatum into the mix.

Even with Tatum, who is 9th on the franchise’s all-time scoring list (13,908 points) back in the Celtics lineup, Brown continues to score at a league-MVP level.

And the Celtics?

They just keep on racking up the wins.
