I am currently 8 days into a family wide flu invasion after our vacation, so this is a day late and I’m sorry. But thankfully my fever is down and I can focus long enough to type this out and get you the freebie of the month.

Three months ago, I spent a whirlwind week with a man who changed my life forever. He awoke a whole new kind of magic within me, and I fell for him. Hard.
Then, he disappeared.
Nash Yun, PI, was the first person I'd ever met who couldn't be influenced by my persuasion magic. He was immune to my charms, which made him even more attractive. And even harder to get. What started off as a reluctant friendship quickly blossomed into something much more. The passion between us was undeniable and like nothing I'd ever felt.
But now it's been weeks since I last heard from him, and I worry something terrible might have happened.
Meanwhile, an innocent woman was robbed and possibly struck dead in her home one night, and I'm the only one who knows about it. The local sheriff doesn't believe me, and without Nash's help, I don't even know where to begin investigating what happened.
The days in my hometown Quincy Bay are getting colder, the nights darker, and the connection I used to feel to my magic is fading.
I fear what will happen if —- or when —- that connection is severed completely.
