Well! It’s been quite some time since I tried to maintain an art blog. Back in the day, I had a photography blog on Tumblr under the name of “Shark City Shooter.” Over time, I drifted away from photography and more into drawing and painting. And it’s been a good 10 or so years since that.
As I’ve been checking out platforms over the years, this now seems like the easiest and best time to start something up. The intention is to be a bit more flexible with what I post, likely deviating from how I post on Instagram (@sharkcityslicker). Whether it be more detailed ramblings or simply more off-the-cuff remarks. I don’t like putting constraints on myself so I hesitate to define anything.
Up above I share my latest business card design, which is a reworking of a past drawing I made promoting a shop update. I ordered 250 to start, and will begin handing them out at my next event: SJMADE Holiday Fair at the Santa Clara Convention Center on November 28th & 29th. So here we are, starting a new blog amid holiday fair prep. I need to keep moving with some original works I want to have available by then. The good thing is, I can share some of that here!
