How do I want to spend my time?

As we dip a toe into summer’s reset, we would be wise to ask and answer this simple question. With so much outside our control, it might feel scary. But there’s no risk of feeling rushed, behind, short on funds, or tall on complications.

This is not a bucket-list situation.

It’s an intention, rooted in honest promise. Life is abundant - the whole world and everything in it.1 It is always offering us, often in microscopic moments, what we need to carry on.

Within our rote rhythms (and blues,) sacredness awaits.

Usually, when I stumble on a free weekend, my impulse is to do n o t h i n g. Leave me alone. Let me hibernate. Last week, cradling the unexpected gift of free time like an egg on a spoon, I knew exactly how I wanted to spend it.
