I swear I’ve been doing things outside of my in-laws apartment since we moved here mid-January (like taking daily French classes that make me feel simultaneously better and worse about my speaking abilities!). But Hourly Comics Day just happened to coincide with a very rainy Parisian day, so here’s what I got up to…

This is one of many comics Katharine has been making about her experience living in Minneapolis, but she also kickstarted a movement online called #iceoutcomics—with the help of cartoonists Jason Walz and Trung Le Nguyen—which has blown up in the past few weeks.
It’s a movement encouraging artists and cartoonists all over the country to share their own stories about ICE. The stories are many, and powerful; I highly recommend reading some of them via the hashtag here.
If you’re an artist and have your own story to share, the format is simple:
