Hi everyone! This month, I passed my 100th subscriber mark on Substack (🎉) and decided to turn on paid subscriptions. When I launched GRAPHICA last year, I was torn about starting an account on ANOTHER social media platform where I either made everything for free, or had to come up with a lot of “paid content” ideas every month. I wanted this to be a place where I could experiment and hold myself accountable to making art as I transition my career to focus less on design and more on comics.

Right now, I still plan to keep my posts available for free, and am framing subscriptions as a way to support my work—a modern-day patronage of the comics arts, if you will! Upgrade at any time using the button at the end of my posts.

I also want to take this moment to thank everyone who is reading GRAPHICA—paid and unpaid—it means a lot that you are sharing your very precious time and attention with me.
