The primary election was held in Wisconsin on Tuesday, and in the Democratic governor’s race, there appears to have been election manipulation. We saw this once before in Wisconsin. In 2020, Joe Biden “won” the state with late-night ballot drops. In the just-concluded primary, the favored Democrat-Socialist candidate lost, and you guessed it, late-night ballot counting irregularities were again responsible.
In the months leading up to the primary, the far-left Democrat-Socialist candidate Francesca Hong held an overwhelming lead in polling. In the last poll released two days before the election, she was up 18%, and her Democrat opponents had all but given up.
Hong was leading so strongly that two weeks ago, her closest competitor, Lt. Gov. Mandela Barnes, dropped out of the race and endorsed Hong. However, in a very unexpected upset, Hong narrowly lost Tuesday’s primary election to centrist Democrat David Crowley. Readers should note that Crowley was doing so poorly in polling a month ago that he had also dropped out of the race.
Yes, you read that correctly: the man who won the Wisconsin primary election for Governor Tuesday night had dropped out of the race 1 month ago.
Skeptics are right to be suspicious of this result. Yesterday, Democratic Crowley supporters attempted to explain away the discrepancy by telling voters that there were simply gigantic errors in pre-election polling, but there is more to the story than that.
Democratic leadership in the state did not want Hong to win because, despite resonating with the young and disaffected voters, Hong was an extremely polarizing candidate who made outrageous statements, like Thanksgiving was a racist holiday and should be eliminated. Democrats knew that Hong would alienate many traditional Democrats, likely resulting in an election victory for the Republican in November. Even worse, it could have negatively impacted close down-ballot races for the Dems.
Democratic Leadership knew that if Hong were to lose the primary, it would have benefited the Democrat party, but her lead appeared insurmountable. For Hong to lose, some sort of election mischief was required, and that appears to be just what happened.
Late on Tuesday night, when Hong was winning the vote count with 98% of the ballots counted, and after all of the county’s favoring her had been counted, the absentee ballots from Milwaukee County were still uncounted. When those ballot counts were delivered to election headquarters, five of the nine flash drive memory sticks holding election results were found to be corrupted. This affected 20,000 Democratic absentee ballots. The drives had to be taken back to the vote center count location to be “corrected” and brought back to the county courthouse to be counted. Voila, when the votes on the thumb drives were all counted, they flipped the election results to Crowley, who won by a slim 3,800-vote margin. It is almost as if the Milwaukee Democrats knew they needed to find additional votes to win, and found just enough votes to do so.
To be clear, I have no evidence that there was cheating in this election. I am saying that it was awfully convenient that the memory sticks had to be sent back to a county favoring David Crowley. After they were reloaded with fresh vote totals, they flipped the vote and gave underdog Crowley an unexpected and slim 3,800-vote victory.
If you remember the 2020 presidential election, you remember the late-night vote dump that resulted in the vote shift seen in the infamous chart below. That vote dump gave Joe Biden victory, and you guessed it, the votes came when Milwaukee County reported its vote totals, which were all for Joe Biden. They say lightning never strikes the same place twice, but I guess it does in Wisconsin.
Personally, I don’t care about Francesca Hong. She sounds like an insane communist, and I am glad she lost, but only if she lost a fair election. If Hong lost an election rigged by the Democrat party, it should concern us all. Election manipulation is bad, no matter who benefits. Conservatives were the victims in 2020 and should be the most concerned when this happens to someone else, even if she is a crazy leftist. If elections can be manipulated in Wisconsin, they can certainly do the same everywhere else, even here in Alaska.
