#2 January 2023~When I first saw The Road Warrior, I was too young, and it blew my mind. The idea of the present world being cast down, all of it's conventions and culture swept away, only a stout or fortunate few remaining, and a new world blooming from the carcass of the old was beyond compelling. Not to mention the jury-rigged cars and leather jackets.
Lying in Games
As a teenager, I loved to play games like Poker and Mafia, where I was able to use deception in order to win the game. In my day-to-day, I tried to be honest, and it felt foreign and exciting to lie during a game. Was this wrong? Was it pointing to something corrupt in my heart that was being kindled? An ember I shouldn’t blow on?
