Mid-December always makes me reach for projects that feel calm, beautiful, and finished — not rushed or overly complicated.
This elegant Christmas loaded pocket tag is one of those designs. It starts as flat printed pages and, with just a little folding and layering, becomes a cozy little piece ready to tuck into a journal, gift, or December keepsake.
This piece was designed with a soft, elegant holiday palette:
Black and white foundations
Hints of deep blue and warm gold
A calm, wintery feel that works beautifully in journals
I used my Brother Scan N Cut to cut the pieces, then hand-assembled the pockets, layers, and coordinating ephemera you see in the video.
Each pocket is filled with small, festive details:
Santa and reindeer imagery
A glowing winter candle
Tiny wrapped gifts
Winter florals
Little tags and seasonal accents
It’s one of those projects that feels special without being complicated — perfect for quiet crafting time.
Loaded pocket tags are one of my favorite designs because they’re versatile:
Easy to assemble
Beautiful as a finished piece
Simple to tuck into journals, planners, or gifts
They feel like a small surprise waiting to be discovered.
If you’re curious, this exact digital design is available in my Etsy shop for instant download.
As the season winds down, I hope you’re able to slow the pace a little and enjoy making something simply for the joy of it — whether that’s today, this week, or later on.
🍾🥂 Wishing you a cozy, peaceful holiday season.
