I've entered quite a few positions over the past two weeks:
Silver, platinum, and palladium
Corn and coffee(Coffee: I'm using a wide stop loss, and if the price drops, I'll reduce the size of my long position as it falls, rather than waiting for the hard stop loss to be triggered. The weather is about to get hot, so time is not on my side.)
Crude oil (this one is a fresh entry, and I feel it's not very stable, so I'm using a wide stop loss. If there's an opportunity later, I'll add to the position and switch to a tighter stop loss.)
EUR/USD: Pay attention to its interaction with critical levels. It doesn't look very promising, so I'm glad I didn't participate in this one.
GBP: If it doesn't start generating profits within the next few days, I will exit this short position. So these next few days are crucial. That's right, I sometimes use time-based stop losses, and if things don't go well, I might incur a slight loss.
AUD: Since I entered the short position, the rally has been quite extreme, and it's just a hair's breadth away from my stop loss level. There's no need for me to exit early here; I'll continue holding the position.
