Last week I talked about how I am struggling with my style. My style is me, but I also wear the same 2 outfits on repeat and would like to get dressed with a little more effort.
I have a tendency to just save things for a special occasion, but I’m alive and that’s special enough. So to keep myself accountable, I’ll be sharing what I wore each week.
There’s also been quite a bit of wishlist items added to my notes recently and I thought I could share them with you so you can either justify the purchase or talk me out of it.
soft goat cashmere recently during endless doom scrolling I found Eugenia Mcquarrie on TikTok and became smitten. Rarely am I drawn so quickly to someone, but she has a very Old Hollywood je ne sais quoi that draws you in. There was a few videos talking about her love for soft goat and I’m lusting over this cardigan for winter (if it ever cools down again).
Alex mill tote ✅ How basic can I be, but to lust after another trendy tote? So much so I randomly ordered it. Will update on if I use it enough to justify the cost.
Leset tee I am forever on the hunt for the perfect tee. Seems fitting as I wear them 6 days out of the week. I’ve been seeing Leset pop up all over and am tempted to try them out. Currently I’m a Klassy and Buck Mason gal.
Ruti on the loose work pant Big fan of Ruti barrel jeans and I think these would really add to my casual wardrobe by elevating my uniform a bit from denim.
Timeless custom pinky ring and diamond pendant necklace. I have stumbled onto custom jewelry made in China and there’s so many designs and ideas I’d love to order, but have not decided on anything yet.
Gucci loafers in brown. Loafers are a classic and while I try to sell my YSL patent leather loafers that do not fit well on my feet, I’ve been browsing to see what I’ll replace them with. Gucci has always done well for me shoe wise and I think these are timeless.
CYKLAR naked neroli everything. This has become my favorite body care line, for Christmas I bought myself this exfoliant and quickly purchased the entire vanilla body care line. Recently I purchased the hand cream in naked neroli and the scent is so comforting and light, it’ll be my repurchase of what I’m using up.
Really good pool/ beach towels ✅ which thanks to my friend, I already got. I picked out 2 Turkish Towels and 1 Beach Towel to replace our 8 mismatch towels that take forever to dry. My goal was to find quality pieces as I declutter excess.
Hermes Jets ✅ I have been lusting after these since Spring and tried it on a few times in store. With fall approaching, I decided to go for it. They are incredibly comfortable and stylish. They also finally had the color way I wanted.
My life these days really is casual. Gym, work from home, school pick up, chauffeur. For week 1 of this accountablilty experimant I find I did make a little more effort twice this week where I would have normally just worn the same denim shorts and tank/ tee. You’ll notice the sandal upgrade from my typical sandals.
Monday, hitting the gym and then errands. Wore this the entire day. Set is from Aritzia: Butter bra and Shorts. Gym bag.
Tuesday: A Very typical uniform outfit. Ribbed tank with built in bra, denim shorts, Vuori wind breaker, and Hermes chypre sandals. The bag is a replica from my private seller Mannco.
Wednesday was definitely my most fashionable day. Wearing my new fit from Free People that I shared last week paired. This was an outfit I would normally save even though it is a casual comfy fit I bought to fit my current day to day life.
Top, pants, sandals are from a private seller Hillary. Necklace is a handmade gift from a dear friend.
Thursday and Friday was a variation of this uniform. Built in bra crop tee, same shorts as Monday, and sandals from private seller Hilary.
