Had a pint at The Coastguards pub in St Margarets Bay today. Odd place - you cannot get a UK phone signal - only French. Have know this for years so put phone on Airplane mode as we went down the cliffe to the bay. EE welcomed me back to the UK when we went back up! Also two Spitfires flew over in formation.

I have mentioned before that I do the page layout for my local village magazine. The adverts are rolling in for the next edition and we have hit a tipping point. Ordinary folk are creating their own adverts with AI- had 4 ½-page ads already and they are good - good enough to print. Glad i don't get paid for this gig else i would be worried!

Just on the way to bed and to the South East on the horizon is a spectacular thunder storm. I checked my lightning app and I can see it a huge storm stretching from Amiens to Lille in France - 140 miles away across the Channel! # weather # lightning # France

Well # N56US has still not landed and as I post they are just North of Paris having dropped from 27000 feet to 7000 feet over Normandy and quietly slipping along at that altitude over the French countryside. I imagine they will wait till it’s daylight to land but also they are wanting to break distance records. - so could be later. 🎈
