Ralph Norman Advances to Primary Runoff

Conservative U.S. Rep. Ralph Norman (R-SC) — our endorsed candidate for U.S. Senate in South Carolina — has advanced to the August 25th primary runoff against appointed Senator Darline Graham (R-SC).

This is the special election to replace the late Senator Lindsey Graham on the November ballot for a full six-year term in the U.S. Senate.

Thank you for helping Ralph Norman get over the first hurdle. Now, we need to work together to finish the job.

There are two reasons why Norman can win this two-week sprint to the Republican nomination:

1. Darline Graham underperformed. Everyone knew she was Lindsey Graham’s sister, and everyone knew the president endorsed her, yet two-thirds of Republicans chose someone else. Grassroots conservatives understand the president’s affection for Lindsey Graham, and they don’t dislike Darline. They just don’t want to take a chance on an untested candidate when we desperately need true conservatives in the U.S. Senate.

2. Ralph Norman overperformed. Pre-election polls had Norman in a three-way tie for second place, but when all the votes were counted, he was in a solid second place. And this came after he was outspent by the third and fourth-place finishers. Norman is now positioned to win a large majority of the voters who didn’t vote for him or for Graham in the primary.
