Linen is the most underrated fabric in your summer wardrobe, it may sound obvious to you, but if so, why don’t we see more people in linen!!
Every summer someone tells me the same thing. They “can’t do” linen because it wrinkles. And every time I tell them, it’s supposed to be a bit wrinkly! It’s my favorite lived in natural fabric.
It’s so effortless, cool, and comfortable. My favorite way to dress.
It’s also why so much of the best vintage is linen. Natural fibers age beautifully and stand the test of time. A well-made linen piece from decades ago can look more luxurious today than something brand new off a fast-fashion rack. Don’t get me started on plastic polyester from Shein that is described as “linen” but is polyester!!! Read your labels!
