HIGHLY recommend reading The Life of Chuck novella and immediately watching the movie adaptation to get the most out of the magic King has created here.
I don’t usually love the movie adaptations because they can color the reading experience, but in this case director Mike Flanagan’s vision for this story only enhances it.
Especially because the majority of the 80+ people at the book club discussion DID NOT like The Life of Chuck short story. I was shocked! But hearing why it didn’t work for many of you was enlightening.
