Sarah Li-Cain · Searching For Enough

May felt like such a turning point, mostly because I’m truly allowing myself to reflect on the fact that one year ago my family and said F**K IT to our suburban life in Florida (and all the baggage that comes with it iykyk). Also learning to appreciate all the ways my life has been enriched because of the decision, most of which is to witness all the little ways I feel and receive love.

My husband bringing home a bag of ripe peaches because he knows I crave them when they’re in season. Meeting a new neighbor and having a conversation for hours. Receiving notes by snail mail. Hugs from friends.

Writing in my new “one line a day journal” has also helped me to remember these little moments, because they really do add up to a life.
